The Lions Roar 

If you should hear the Lions Roar,

On Selsey's East or Western Shore.

Be not Afraid of their big mane,

It's likely the Selsey Lions again.

Travelling around at all odd hours,

Dodging intermittent showers.

Doing what they can to ease.

Those never ending problems 'Please'.

The young, infirm, the deaf and blind,

Those in need of every kind,

Are targets for the Lions aid,

And Lions give it, quite unpaid.

The Lions constant battle plan,

Is helping others to a man,

Forgetting colour, race or creed,

And satisfying every need.

Our Members all are full of Verve.
